Fascism is a form of socialism that focuses on nationalism and the overall primacy of the State. A typical fascist State is based on a cult of personality, a single strong leader who rallies followers behind both an outside and internal enemy, a very militaristic view of national security, with a corporatist outlook.

Those followers of the cult have to become a part of the government, it's still top down authoritarianism. How do you explain that when conservatives are yelling smaller government while we are called fascists by you on the left.

Cpl (Join to see) - I didn't say that it wasn't top-down authoritarianism. I also don't know how to answer your other question, because, like I've repeatedly told you and which you're apparently unable to comprehend, I'm not on the left. But then, you don't care about the truth, do you? Just that your leader's position is secured, and anyone who disagrees is fair game for ad hominem attacks.

Truth and correctness is not the goal of the left. Demonizing groups and individuals for a goal is the agenda. Marginalization.

Marginalization creates tribes,pitting tribe against tribe. It's easier to swoop in with the "fix" if you can convince everyone that the other tribe is out to get your tribe.
