Interesting that Canada did not send any soldiers during the 2003 invasion of Iraq. He did do a mini Obama like campaign promise to pull his F-18 out of Iraq. Those jets are old anyway and they were falling apart. He did triple the amount of Canadian Special Forces from 100 to 300. So he did do something right as far as that's concerned.

Canada had no obligation to send soldiers to Iraq since none of their allies had been attacked. They did send folks to Afghanistan because the US was attacked. Allies have no obligation to make the same mistakes we do. We do not get to drag them into.wars we volemtariky choose to.enter. the Candia fough in Korea and not Vietnam for the same reasons another wise move.

It is funny though that the top General fired his executive with the memorandum but won't say why. This Admiral had an unblemished record before this and the Canadian press is speculating politics is involved because he's not been charged with any crime.
