No mother, or anybody else for that matter, should have the right to kill an unborn baby. Abortion is murder, plain and simple. The baby has just as much right to life as the mother. It is a baby, not a choice.

COL Jean (John) F. B. My specific views on abortion are complex but since you asked I'll try to summarize.
1. The "Morning after pill" should be available over the counter (no prescription needed) and cheap to buy. I don't consider drugs like this to even be an abortion but I am including/mentioning it because I'm aware that many pro-life people do.
2. IMO Abortion should be legal and easily accessible anytime in the first trimester. It's worth noting that more than 90% of all abortions in the U.S. are performed during the first trimester.

3. In the second trimester one should not be seeking a "convenience" abortion (and I believe these are rare) but if there is a reason such as the discovery of birth defects it should be allowed.
4. In the third trimester abortion should be allowed only in the case of serious birth defects or of course where the mothers life or health is at risk. FWIW in the link I provided above it shows slightly more than 1% of all abortions occur in this stage.
On a related note I believe that comprehensive sex education should be mandatory in schools (parents should not have the right to take their children out) and that birth control should be freely available to everyone and that these two measures will ultimately reduce the rates of abortion (which has been on the decline for decades) and poverty.

I have no problem with a "morning after" pill or with abortions in proven cases of rape or incest (early in the first trimester) or in cases where the mother's life (not mental or emotional stability) is truly in danger. I am opposed to abortions for convenience any time after the baby's heartbeat can be detected.
I don't disagree with mandatory sex education (with the "community"/local school district deciding at what age it is appropriate) and don't have a problem with the dispensing condoms or whatever, although parents of kids under 18 (or the age of consent in the state) should be advised of such issuance to their kids (or have a consent form on file).

Capt Gregory Prickett "Abortion is not murder", I wonder how the Lord will respond to you when you tell him it is ok to destroy His Blessed creations? Roe vs Wade had their day in court and you will too. Fortunately, Roe will be over turned and you still have a chance to be saved too. My prayers will be with you.
