I despise liberalism. It is hipocracy at its finest.

Why should liberals/Democrats do anything? Republicans control the government right now. Let them take ownership and in 2 and 4 years, let the voters decide how they feel about it. Looking to the minority party with almost no power to do something seems intellectually vacant. When Obama had a monopoly for his first two years, I was much more concerned with what the Dems were doing than how the Repubs responded.

LTC (Join to see) - I certainly did read it. The problem is that you're failing to answer a painfully simple question. Here, I'll try asking in a different manner: If and when the Trump Tax Plan is implemented, will you keep whatever financial benefit you may gain, or send the difference to the government?

Even if it fails, then it's a moot point. I concur that the devil is indeed in the details, but humor me, Mike. What if it does go through? What will you do with the money that the govt no longer takes from you?

I won't refuse any tax breaks. How is this the basis of an entire thread?

You are absolutely correct. Sadly, the GOP lacks the leadership that the Dems had. Although I revile her, I have to pay grudging respect to Pelosi, she can not only herd cats, but also herd Democrats. Sadly, Trump has some good ideas but the GOP (or rather the reluctance of the GOP to support him) is getting in the way. So, yes, the voters will get to decide in 2 (actually 1.5) and 4 years, and they may clean house again. That's my proposal: Replace all Congressional incumbents. Then again, the one thing the Dems fear the most is a Trump success. If he figures out how to govern and inspires the people to get on the backs of their Congressional representatives to support him, the Dems will spend many decades trying to get back in.

The replies by clear She-Man Trump Haters are comical. People will literally oppose anything that guy proposes.

TRUMP: Here ya go man, here's $1,000 for being a great American, no strings attached.

Idiots: I don't want it! You are an idiot! Shouldn't you use this to build bombs, or to steal away my healthcare, or bribe Putin, or tweet, or raise my taxes, or build the all, or force guns down my throat...(I can continue).

This tax plan is brilliant for putting money back into the pockets of Americans. Might it increase debt a little, yes. You'd think that is the kind of debt people would accept.
