The Continued Abuse in Psychiatry

The sad fact that 'inpatient abuse' is significant and if you add in the outpatient and drug costs and this does not evasive procedures like ECT, then the bubbling cauldron bubbles away. The victims are the very ones, trusted to do what is right.

The Quintessential component of this is us. And as things such as PRRC and CBT, CBTi, DBT, Mindfulness, REBT. Giving that, pharmacological interventions have basically given way (minimally) to Psychotherapeutic modalities.

Again, at the core of this all, is that InPatient and their Bill of Rights. Things like seclusion, chemical and non-chemical restraint.
