Wow! I'm glad that's out of the way! Now to shift our focus onto other things that matter!

SSG (Join to see) , you mean like what color t-shirt I can wear underneath my ASUs or OCPs? Or perhaps you're referring to the all important question of "How come I can only wear one watch and one bracelette?"

Nail polish seems to be the big uniform question, who can wear it when.

I haven't seen anything that states that. Anything else I have to offer will be solely personal opinion. :)

SSG (Join to see) - I don't think AR670-1 has been updated to address the gender issue.

After receiving the transgender class, my interpretation is that it will be whatever gender marker is shown in DEERS. Bottom line is that women can wear nail polish, it just has to be clear.

LTC (Join to see) - According to the most recent training, it's whatever gender is in DEERS. So if you've gone through the proper steps to transition (which are extensive) and you are Female in DEERS, the female rules apply.

So no, it's not necessarily biological sex at birth. It's whatever the personnel system marks the soldier as.

I think the author meant pocket instead of sleeve.
Also, what is the Military Horseman Badge? Google isn't being helpful.
