Seattle’s Minimum Wage Hike May Have Gone Too Far

This is news that should surprise noone, but I'm sure will surprise quite a few.
As the city of Seattle significantly increased it's minimum wage employers shed employees and cut the hours of those it kept on. The net result was a _reduction_ in the take home pay for those low wage earners.
This doesn't even get into the problem that minimum wage increases lead to inflation, something we're already seeing in the Los Angeles area as the city and county embarked on their own foolhardy plan to raise the minimum wage to $15/hr over the next several years.

You are so right and none of the Liberal Democrats appear to consider the negative effects to the business owners, including going out of business which supports your premise MSgt Stephen Council. Just rally the people and walk away to avoid blame and then let the Liberal media cover their idiotic ideas.

At least the UW researchers admitted to leaving out certain variables that could have effected and shaped their results one direction or the other.
