This is ARSON not vandalism, that could have burned the house down and killed everyone in it. When he is arrested he should be charged with attempted murder. Then also charge him with distruction of private property, and trespassing. Take him for every dime he has and place him in prison for a few years.
This Liberal insanity that they have the right to destroy anything they do not agree with is out of hand, We just had some nut smash a 10 commandments monument because he did like it. I'm not Christian but I don't have an issue with the 10 commandments 1-3 don't apply to me but I'm not offended by them, 4-10 are basic tenants of all society's and a good rule of thumb to follow.

As far as I am concerned, this was arson with intent to kill. If that house would have gone up in flames and people died, then he would be tried for murder or at the very least manslaughter. Come up to my house and try to burn it...you might leave with lead poisoning.

I hope they catch him, no one has the right to come onto someone else's property and set fire or damage said property. If this was my house, he would be greeted with a 12 gauge and I would give him a running start.

Considering the flame was uncontrolled, etc...this would be considered arson yes.

You took your Criminal Justice classes where??? You obviously failed the State Statutes' exam. "Uncontrolled" is mentioned nowhere in the definition of arson which, again, this is not.
