My Dad had a 7 handicap. I never played golf - preferring Racquetball. In his memory - this was one of his favorite scenes from the Honeymooners

The directions say to address the ball. Now what does that mean?

Yes........properly "addressing" the ball is critical. I played a lot of racquetball in the service too.....glad I took up golf as well.......I can still play golf.
