That is standard to put the farthest port you might take them. My 2 cents is that they will take her to NASSCO in San Diego. Great yard, plenty of DDG experience, and it is easy to integrate the crew with other ships/training while in the yards to continue training. SN Greg Wright

Bremerton and Long Beach both have the Ship Yards that can put her back together. Either will do a bang up job, but I bet the Crew would rather go to Long Beach better Liberty

Long beach has a lot better weather too. Bremerton has a ton of rain and Snow in the winter... Not ;like Sunnt SOuthern California... but then again you do have Californian's that theywill have to put up with so I guess its a trade off. LOL
