I've said it once and I'll say it again. If the person meets the standard for the job they are training for, they have earned the right to serve. Once the bullets start flying, the only thing that matters to the person on your left and your right are you shooting back and do you have my back.

SFC (Join to see) - I said nothing of the sort. I said, be it a man or a woman and prior to any surgery they should maintain the uniform issued. I don't want a male soldier that looks in all outward appearances to were the female uniform. Is that sole enough for you.

Cpl Thomas Kifer - You edited your comment because that is not what you said before. I wish I had screen shot it that is NOT what you had a few minutes ago. You said "if a male looks like a male he shouldn't wear female uniforms." That's what you said. C'mon man. Also until a transgender soldier has had his or her gender marker changed in DEERS they cannot follow the other gender regulations. So male to female - until that gender marker changes from male to female, that soldier follows male standard. Once it changes in DEERS, then they can follow female standards.

Serving in the military isn't a right. The military discriminates against people with certain levels of disability, discriminates based on age, discriminates based on medical conditions etc. I predict that the group has judge shopped. The lower court judge will say Trump can't ban transgender people. It will go to a superior court and the lower judges ruling will be upheld. Everybody will cheer. The case will reach the Supreme Court and the other judges will be overturned. The President is commander in chief. The offended groups and media will pout.

If you are disabled enough to sue under the ADA you are disabled enough to kick out of the military.
I think just being okay with being labelled with an umbrella like transgender then referring to yourself as being an umbrella term is enough grounds to kick them all out.
While Trump is at it I the openly LGB ones also!

Casey Francia - Downvote me all you want. I don't care. Transgender dysphoria isn't even a thing. Gender dysphoria and transgender aren't the same thing. There are transgender people serving in combat and overseas right now fyi. No -issues.

It does say this in our contracts:
"b. Laws and regulations that govern military personnel may
change without notice to me. Such changes may affect my status,
pay, allowances, benefits, and responsibilities as a member of the
Armed Forces REGARDLESS of the provisions of this enlistment/
reenlistment document."
Tweets don't make policy and so no his tweet doesn't call for an immediate discharge and the Pentagon hasn't gotten anything yet. So drafts and tweets don't make laws or change policy.
I don't think this lawsuit is ingenious at all really. There's nothing to sue against yet. I don't agree with him reversing the ban but laws and regulations that govern us can change at any time. They could sit there and say "let's reverse allowing women to serve." Would that actually happen? Doubtful. They could reverse the integration of women into combat arms. I doubt that. I really don't think that they would reverse the ban on transgender people serving openly even if they get this alleged plan from the WH. Maybe they will. I guess we have to wait and see. It will be bs if they do but it could happen.
