Explain to me how anyone believes you can unilaterally choose not to be in an arms race? Somehow laying down our arms and hugging each other will somehow convince the rest of the world to do the same???

MAJ (Join to see) I had an issue w/ #3, too, sir. Just because we may get rid of a weapon does not mean our competitors would, as well. Hell, the majority of our competitors have something similar to what we have because they didn't want to be at a disadvantage. The only thing getting rid of a resource does, is put you behind the game!

Well Nevil Chamberlain's decisions have nothing to do with the current policy of appeasement....
I really enjoyed visiting the Majinot Line in France awesome near impregnable defenses, that ultimately led to the French defeat because they created a sense of infallibility which caused the French to withdraw from their treaty with Poland and Denmark, when they could have easily taken the Rhineland with minimal resistance thereby ending the NAZI Reich.
