We live in a country governed by the rule of law. Regardless of the nature of the crime, I say let the justice system do its work.

Never intended for him not to have a speedy trial and conviction. Just don't give this pond scum a dozen appeals. Connecticut had two daughters and their mother raped as the father was tied in basement. They lit the home on fire and all died, but the dad was able to get out. The legislature then went out of their way to ensure these two lower then life animals were able to avoid the death penalty. So now they enjoy three meals, entertainment and a life in prison.

My husband SSG (Join to see) showed me this video earlier today. I cried when he pulled th gun and shot him. I guess I wasn't expecting it, even though I should have. CPT (Join to see) one of the reasons he showed me is because this happened in South Carolina and that is where he is from. The gall this man had to pull it out and do that especially with body cams these days. My heart was beating fast when the officer was calling for help

Yes, I think of my experiences as a first responded. Even as a fireman you have to assess the scene. With political correctness, you can't be aggressive. If you do anything without 10 steps of deescalation you have previous Presidents, elected leaders and activists demanding riots and lawsuits. Yes, for the .0001% of actions that went over the top, justice is required. Pathetic!

Perhaps, but the maximum sentence for attempted murder in that state is 30 years, plus an additional 5 for using a firearm in a crime of violence.
