Why do Atheists think Christians need to know things about them? What is their obsession with Christianity? We know they do not believe in God but that same dynamic would be true for the Judaism, Islam and other world religions. What is with the almost sociopathic need to try to convince Christendom of something? It speaks volumes about their emptiness. The only can be relevant when Christianity is around to juxtaposition themselves against. Without Christendom they would seemingly be meaningless.

1SG (Join to see) - Yes, you also walked by 2,000 years of the advancement of western civilization and all that was done and continues to be done by the Church and the body of believers. You don't have to believe but to act as though you have been balanced in your presentation of what the church and/or the body of believers has done is naïve at best. I could go item by item but that would waste my key strokes and would not change your mind, not that I would expect to do so.

Cpl Jeff N. - so many errors in your statement...

I don't hate Christianity, nor Christians. On the contrary, I feel sorry for them, and hope that someday they will open their mind to rational thought in all aspects of their lives instead of all areas except religion.

I would like Christians to know more about Atheists so that we can eliminate discrimination, biases, and misunderstandings by Christians.

I can go on, but you get the idea (or should).

Capt Nick S - exactly. What Cpl Jeff N. has a problem with is that while he doesn't believe in the Norse gods, or the Greek gods, or the Muslim god, he can't seem to realize that the only difference is that we go one god further.
