That crap needs to stay out of the classroom especially the younger grades, let the parents handle that if they wish. Curriculum is what a school is responsible for.

The article stated that they intended to continuing would deviate from the 'curriculum'! @SSG James Phelps My question would be why have a published/approved curriculum?

This is NOT the place and kindergarten is way way too young to begin to confuse these kids.

I personally think that a child in kindergarten cannot decide what shoes to wear let alone what gender they prefer. I also feel that it is more of the parent's influencing the child at that age as the child is not developed enough. Most importantly I am amazed that schools have time to teach any non social engineering topic at all with all of the other "vital issues" that they are addressing. Our graduation rates are abysmal, kids are not ready for the workforce and we are going down the tubes merrily singing Kumbaya

That is a very private and family oriented discussion to have...not for the classroom and especially at that age. If this happened with my child without me knowing about it in advance, I would probably pull them out and either home school or private school. Teaching transgender issues is my duty as a parent...not the governments...PERIOD.
