Thanks PO1 Tony Holland for letting us know that the remains of each of the ten missing sailors have been recovered from the collision of the USS John S. McCain (DDG 56) with the 600-foot, Liberian-flagged oil and chemical tanker, Alnic MC on 5:24 a.m. Monday, August 21, 2017,
Remember the fallen and their grieving famiily members and friends:
The victims ranged in age from 20 to 39 years old and came from eight U.S. states:
1. Charles Nathan Findley, 31, Electronics Technician 1st Class, from Amazonia, Missouri
2. Abraham Lopez, 39, Interior Communications Electrician 1st Class, from El Paso, Texas
3. Kevin Sayer Bushell, 26, Electronics Technician 2nd Class, from Gaithersburg, Maryland
4. Jacob Daniel Drake, 21, Electronics Technician 2nd Class, from Cable, Ohio
5. Timothy Thomas Eckels Jr., 23, Information Systems Technician 2nd Class, from Manchester, Maryland
6. Corey George Ingram, 28, Information Systems Technician 2nd Class, from Poughkeepsie, New York
7. Dustin Louis Doyon, 26, Electronics Technician 3rd Class, from Suffield, Connecticut
8. John Henry Hoagland III, 20, Electronics Technician 3rd Class, from Killeen, Texas
9. Logan Stephen Palmer, 23, Interior Communications Electrician 3rd Class, from Decatur, Illinois
10. Kenneth Aaron Smith, 22, Electronics Technician 3rd Class, from Cherry Hill, New Jersey
