What a Joke, he has been largely responsible for congress being disfunctional. Latest example his vote against killing Obamacare.

Capt Gregory Prickett And I'm not going to either-yes I voted for him. No I don't agree with everything he says or does. But I do agree with putting America and Americans first.

Capt Gregory Prickett I guess we will have to agree to disagree then. That's the fantastic thing about our country and opinions, in the U.S.A., we can have AND voice them as well.
Take care Captain-

I believe it's more President Trump pushing them than anything Senator McCain did, or can do. I just posted an article that the House passed a substantial portion of a budget, first time since 2009. Seems like our government is finally starting to work with President trump pressuring the Republicans and Democrats.

The likelihood that Sen McCain is going to come back (survive his type of brain cancer) to the Senate and be able to execute his duties for the citizens of Arizona and the people of the United States is very low. Although he has the advantage of his wife's money to aggressively fight his illness which may prolong his life a bit longer it does not change the medical reality of his diagnosis. The real question we need to think about is should he or others in similar situations be forced to step down?

LTC Jason Bartlett - I feel for anyone going through this kind of pain: physical and mental. That being said you bring up a valid point: at what point can a person be forced out of office if they can’t discharge their duties? I believe there is a process, but who wants to be seen as going after a sick old man war hero; they probably wouldn’t be elected to office again. I feel sadder for the deterioration of a person’s brain where they can’t self regulate themselves anymore. It is sad to see them go through it. I watched my mother (who is just a bit older than McCain) succumb to dementia 2015/2016, it wasn’t easy. I hope the Lord takes me before I ever get like that.
