History is repeating...hopefully, we can keep up. The military draw down has not helped us. We are going to have to rebuild. Every draw down...results is problems. But, history does not repeat... WWI the war to end all wars, WWII ooopps, we were not supposed to have that....and we can not have any more... Said the people before WWII.

Who was it that said that “if you want peace prepare for war”? Unfortunately it looks as if we aren’t prepared for jack and would have to play catch-up if war did break out.

The idea of having a Navy for warfare has been going the way of the Do Do bird for a while.
The Navy is becoming a glorified international Coast Guard.
The money spent on new vessels would be better spent on space based weapons like the "rods from god."
Submarines will most likely always have a place in warfare. Surface vessels though are becoming overly expensive liabilities.

It became Climate Change when the scientists were caught doctoring their data to support their hypotheses. When you doctor your data, it's no longer science...
As an aside, Al Gore got rich jetting around in his private jet, dumping tons of carbon in the atmosphere to warn people around the world about the evils of Climate Change. His mansion burned 3X the energy of other homes its size. Hypocrisy much?
While I think there is some connection between fossil fuels and climate change, I don't think it is the apocolyptic catastrophe the Progressives are making it out to be. I think it is just one of those NWO income redistribution schemes to use the Carbon Tax to get the richer countries to pay to develop the poor countries.
