He's not fawning at anything. it's called diplomacy, and Trump must negotiate with the world's second largest nuclear power, unless you'd rather go to war with them.

Is right and wrong determined by the amount of nuclear weapons a country has? Why are we so eager to beat our chest and flex our military might over third rate dictators like the one in North Korea, but immediately shrink and defer to Putin? If North Korea pulled the same thing in South Korea that Putin pulled in the Ukraine, would we do anything about it?

MSgt Steve Sweeney - I'm confused by your post. Russia occupied the Crimea and the previous President did absolutely nothing about it, and yet you're using that as a point of comparison for a hypothetical North Korean action against South Korea, and implying it would be bad if Trump did nothing? Trump wasn't the one who deferred to Russia when Russia occupied Ukraine, that was Obama. And lest you forget, Hillary was a key part of the Obama administration when they did the deal to sell uranium to Russia, so if there has been anyone kissing Putin's ass in the real world, it has been Democrats.

Did nothing about it? It is not hard to see why you are confused; you lack critical information, or just want to deny its existence, we will se which ... or perhaps you were just unaware of the numerous sanctions levied against Russia in response to Ukraine and Crimea aggression. (See US State Dept link below)
No one "sold" Uranium to Russia. That is just dumb, for numerous reasons. If Trump was so concerned about a Russian mining company operating in Wyoming, why didn't he doing anything with the sanctions bill recently passed in the Senate to get them shut down and/or out of the country? Could it be because they don't actually believe the lies they are telling you... the ones you are ready to accept without question?
As for "absolutely nothing" and deference to Russia, perhaps I can refresh your memory on actions that were taken:

There was a thread a while back discussing post numerals. I place mine to prove a point about how ridiculous it can get... I never changed it back :0)

I wonder what the left thought of BO's fawning and bowing before every other countries' leaders. It seems trump can't do anything lest it be picked apart by every left wing hack who just can't stand the fact that hillary lost the presidency of her own accord. We get it, you all don't like trump, but what alternative was really given, that corrupt skank?

You mean how Trump scraped before the Chinese president and talked about their "warm relationship" while he was in China... You know, the same country he accused of being a "currency manipulator" and accused of "raping our country" less than a year ago ... and then went on to say he didn't blame China for "raping" the U.S.? That sort of fawning and bowing? Or maybe it was more like how Trump grovels in front of Putin and won't even think of saying anything negative about his former KGB friend.

Your constant attacks on the POTUS make me believe you've sniffed the intake of a gas mask far too long. They are manipulating their currency and the only people that are raping our country are the politicians who drive our manufacturing business to other countries with overreaching regulations and debilitating taxes.

Considering you didn't respond to anyone else's post in this thread with the same vitriol, I'm going to start believing you think rank means something here with those little Rs and Vs after our names. You can't intimidate me, go away!

MSgt Steve Sweeney - You appear to be easily confused. President Trump spoke of the warm personal relationship he has with President Xi, he wasn't saying China and the U.S. have warm relations. And if you'd have been paying attention, President Trump made it very clear that he doesn't blame any country for taking advantage of the United States, because he correctly understands that the leadership of other countries are supposed to look out for the interests of those countries. It's not the job of foreign leaders to look out for the interests of the United States, that's supposed to be the job of American leadership. It's just that American leadership has done such a shitty job of it over the past few decades. That's why he doesn't blame foreign leaders for taking advantage of the U.S., he blames U.S. leaders for allowing it to happen.
