The timing of the allegations seems remarkably suspect. Equally suspicious is the motivation of the newspaper, and the lawyer who are buoying them. For those reasons alone, I have doubts.

I am even more suspect of the accusations after reading that a key aspects of the 14-year old accuser’s story have been rebuked by her own mother (she never had a phone in her room).

Adding to this suspicion are the results of a hand writing expert who examined the signature in the year book provided by the latest accuser. He was quite adamant that the signature was a forgery, that the name of the restaurant has been misspelled, and that the dates had been written by different people.

I do believe we have a beaver in the woodpile.

Bill Maher. Why don't you spend some time with your Hollywood elitist friends removing the plank from their eye?

If Moore is guilty of doing what he has been accused of, he should not serve (if elected). A 40 year old allegation is next to impossible to defend against. I don't even think these allegations can be brought to a charge (statute of limitation?). We saw Gloria Allred bring out her parade of accusers against Trump a short time before the election and here she is again. Anyone seeing a pattern? Since there is no way this can be resolved before the election, the notion that this is a political hit has some merit. We are also past the point the GOP could replace him on the ballot, how convenient.

This starts to feel like a political hit. Moore has been in various offices most of his life. Why wait until now? I think the answer is that the left knows Moore is not supported by the GOP swamp creatures (McCain, McConnell etc.) and certainly by none of the democrats. He is an easy mark for a political hit job as evidenced by the GOP leadership abandoning him at the accusation. Never mind McCain was accused of similar behavior and he is still there. Seems to be selective outrage as well.
