Now that ISIS is mostly defeated, will U.S. stay in Iraq?

The US is still in countries we defeated after the end of WWII. Germany, Japan and Italy are among the most peaceful and prosperous countries in the world, not despite the US, but because of the US. What's needed in the Middle East is for the US to STAY in Afghanistan and Iraq and then lead a Middle East Marshall Plan after subduing the enemy.

ISIS has only been defeated in the field. It is an ideology. ISIS and AQ Sunni. Hamas, Hizbolla, and Iran Shia.
Same sh** different day for over 1400hrs. The problem is the Mosques and Madrasas. As long as they preach Muhammad is the perfect man, who raided, murdered and took slaves, we will be inside the House of War.

Think back to the regimes in Iran and Iraq when there was little unrest, but lots of repression. This is the counter to those times. There is a sweet spot in the middle that Europe enjoyed before the Great Muslim Migration, and after WWII. Those ISIS fighters who are melting back into the woodwork need an income. Hopefully they can earn a legitimate income, and not for a madrasas. A Middle East Marshall Plan, led by Arab states and supported by a non-Arab coalition led by the US could help work toward that sweet spot.
