Scotland is really concerned over 100,000 pounds of tax breaks for the resort/golf course. This is not enough money to get worried about. My guess is he is employing a fair number of locals there. It also sounds like a politically motivated tax hit which might get you moist Kerr but it will likely only hurt the employees and guests will have to pay more.

You see Kerr, you still don't get how this all works. The tax increase will be gotten back through lower wages, fewer employees, higher room rates, greens fees etc. If they make it too bad for him, he can always close the resort and leave. Then your hero's, the local politicians, will have only hurt the people there. My guess is the job prospects are bleak there in Scotland as Ireland is a far more favorable place to open a business in the UK.

The 1.5 million is based upon the rateable value, not his net income on the property. If you are going to post this, you ought to at least inform yourself about what you are posting and what it means.

Yes, I am sure you know everything about the Turnberry/ Ayrshire Scotland area, economy, employment prospects, local feeling etc. You troll your lefty web sites looking for anything to confirm your bias against Trump. I'm sure when you lay your head down on your pillow at night, and visions of anti-Trump propaganda are dancing in your head, you think this is how things are going down at Turnberry.

I doubt anyone would want to see that resort crash. Employment in the area of Scotland is in the tank and has been for years. They need every job they can get. The only jackassery going on is your posts about things you know nothing about.

Cpl Jeff N. - the jackasses bulling his niegfboprs is a matter of public record, His opposition to the Wind-farms is a matter of public record, the resort is not going to crash because the don't help trump. perhaps it might get new owner though which would please the Scots.

1stSgt Nelson Kerr - A lot of people oppose wind farms. They are a blight on the natural terrain. You use the word bullying like this is a schoolyard. He is a business owner in Scotland and has the right to speak out about things that he believes may hurt his business or the local economy. What skin do you have in the game? Zero. It isn't bullying to advocate for things he thinks will improve or maintain his investment in the area. Try to learn what the word means.

The Scots are not assured anyone new would take this over if it collapses. You might want to educate yourself about the economy of the area. If Trump closes this resort it may stay closed and more Scots are hurt but you don't give a rats ass about the Scots, you just like to feed your Trump derangement syndrome.

MSG Joseph Cristofaro - Don't bother Kerr with facts. He is busy looking for anything to attack Trump about. If a few hundred Scots are put out of work if the resort closes, he doesn't care.

Scotland should be ashamed that the President owns the only business with a tax assessment over 1.5m pounds.
