Here is another story where the MSM/Press shows their political bias. As many in the past have stated that political party does not matter, why is it that when it is a Republican the party affiliation is mentioned and when it is a Democrat it (party affiliation) is usually not mentioned.
And talk about hypocrisy when it comes to the subject of sex, illicit or otherwise: "Barry also said she doesn’t want the affair to “muddy” the “Me Too” women’s movement.
“The ‘Me Too’ movement is about women who have been sexually harassed and economically disadvantaged for hundreds of years,” Barry said. “This is about two middle-aged, consenting adults who had feelings for each other, and were human and had failings.”"

I noticed that. The fact remains, we concern ourselves with matters that are personal and private. Unless laws or regulations are broken.

It is unethical behavior for someone in the public spotlight when it is 'on the job.' Because that is what it is. If they were Mrs. John Q. Public and Mr. John Smith, average everyday individuals, I would probably say OK; but they are not your average everyday people, they are publicly elected officials and government employees, then and now. And if they (Democrats in particular) are going to scream about removing someone from office for less egregious behavior, shouldn't they also police their own ranks?

SSG Robert Webster - Agree with the hypocrisy, but if we have extreme vetting of our political candidates, there would be very few running for office, let alone winning. It would be interesting to see, if we were all honest, how many critical of human behavior would be able to say, go ahead look at my entire history and judge me. Not that I wouldn't like to think there are a few, but rather what is most important to consider when electing someone to represent you in any fashion, from city to federal positions. JMHO

Why did the Mayor admit to having an affair? Because it was discovered by one of the spouses. She did not admit to anything. Headline: Nashville Mayor "Caught" having an affair. Now that we set the headline correct lets look at the relationship. It was a higher level government official having an affair with a subordinate (not in her immediate chain), Headline: Nashville Mayor caught having an affair with subordinate. Additionally, they took vacations on the People's dime, Headline: Nashville Mayor's taxpayer funded overseas affair. The hypocrisy is in role reversal.
