Harley Davidson to offer electric motorcycle within 18 months, says CEO

We were just talking last week about how H-D is shuttering one of their plants and laying off a bunch of people.

Not that it will do anything about that situation but new modern (leading/bleeding edge) bikes like this are exactly where H-D needs to focus if they want to remain a viable company in the years and decades to come.

It's worth noting and is mentioned in the article that there are already companies making electric Motorcycles and they are getting better every year. H-D and the other manufacturers can't let themselves fall too far behind.
