Good morning my friend COL Mikel J. Burroughs well the truth is I am getting ready to leave with my darling wife for appointment with our financial adviser and the to the Fort Belvoir commissary.
Pilate asked Jesus what the truth was and he was uncomfortable with the answer as Jesus' claim that he is "witness to the truth" and Pilate infamously rhetorically mused 'what is truth"?
Truth is absolute and is true whether everybody understand and believe it or nobody does.
I like the quotes from:
1. Spencer Johnson “Integrity is telling myself the truth. And honesty is telling the truth to other people.”
2. James E. Faust "Honesty is more than not lying. It is truth telling, truth speaking, truth living, and truth loving."
LORD knows that we each need truth in our life and when we can speak the truth in love it can hurt but it is a blessing to us and those we share it with.

LTC Stephen F. - I have never served in the Military. But I was in AFG for 18 months as a Military advisor. The Head of our group, the 777 of the Air Force was an LTC. Everyone of the Military members referred to him as Col., he also reminded me of his rank at which time I informed him that I knew the difference but was showing the same deference as were the men serving under his leadership ! I will always refer to you as 'Col.' because of this experience ! SIR !!!

I'd have to agree with you Marty! Too many lies in the public eye from our very own public officials that we've elected (we the people). It's really sad if you think about it. There is a lot of integrity on RallyPoint though and we need to hold onto that principal and characteristics as current military leaders at all levels serving and our former veterans and retirees.
