The Marine Corps on Tuesday suspended a general who publicly ridiculed as “fake news” allegations of sexual harassment at his command and also joked about a chaplain recently fired for having sex in public, USA TODAY has learned.

To this day, the commander can decide not to go forward with an investigation no matter how much proof do you have. They never want to have an independent body make the assessment.

Sounds like there was in investigation that PC police didn't like the conclusion of. That being said officers and NCO's and just about everyone should know better than to say dumb stuff like this. Two wrongs don't make a right.
