Sgt Kelli Mays Wow, that would be awesome in my opinion, but I just asked CPT Jack Durish about all the issue surrounding such a vote and move "Would the Federal Government recognize (3) separate states? How would that affect our US Flag, the election, the electoral vote, etc...?"

Mikel,, Of course it would change some aspects but I do not think that it would be bad in the end. Some things would take a bit to get adjusted to, sure. I really hope they are able to move forward with such good news.

I was waiting for the big one to push it into the ocean.... I don't think most anything they do there is a good idea- works for the northern tier who pay for the mess in the southern tier. Sorry that is just me- will take the backwards flyover state I live in and be happy.

I’m for it, 55 electoral votes split primarily with Ds and Rs. Rather than Democrats automatically getting all of them.
