Russell Crowe's performance is magnificent and I never tire of this movie.

I agree. I am also partial to the soundtrack. Hans Zimmer does a fantastic job accentuating the scenes in the movie with the musical score.

Ben Hur (2016) Roman march into Jerusalem
i personally did not like the movie, but this part where the roman sing while marching stuck with me. might contain a spoiler if you haven't seen it yet p.s:...
That was a beautiful scene.
I also liked the presentation of the Romans in the recent Ben Hur remake: https://youtu.be/WvS8cvapdMk?t=15s (not as dramatic, but the cadence and the walk in seem kinda like today's armies and so strike as fairly genuine).

I agree. I read the book several years ago, most likely after the movie was originally released in the theater.
