Atheist Debates - Liar, Lunatic or Lord?

Another interesting debate share, thank you sir.

I have adopted the position that the truth of the Bible being dependent on Christ's (alleged) divinity is the ultimate Ad Homenim argument. What Jesus taught is true and valuable based on its own merits (or not), not because Jesus said them. The teachings would be just as true if expressed by a goat herder or a king.
There is a lot of wisdom to be found in the Bible... but by the same account, there is a lot of wisdom to be found in Star Wars. With all due respect to C.S., I believe he is offering a false dilemma in his limited options of characterization.
