The photo shows an SS Trooper - probably of the 12th SS Hitlerjugend (Hitler Youth) Panzer Division. The 12th SS was decimated in Normandy losing 80% of their troops, over 80% of is tanks, 70% of its armored vehicles, 60% of its artillery and 50% of their its vehicles. The 12th SS also committed multiple atrocities against French Civilians and Canadian POWs.
