Golly, now I am confused... not long ago we read about how this ultra powerful, big scary black rifle bruised the shoulder of a reporter yet these small framed females don't seem to be affected.

MSgt Danny Hope - When I read that report I thought back to my time at Ft Jackson working with basic trainees. We had a female drill sergeant who was 4'10" and maybe weighed 90 lbs in uniform. She used to fire the M16 on day one of the range fire to show the trainees that it wouldn't hurt them.
