I am consistently amazed at the change in people when they find a way to be grateful for what is happening in life. I don't usually give personal shares here but today I will. I can bemoan the fact that I need surgery or be grateful to live in a time and a place where I can get it done. I choose the latter. What can you find to be grateful for today?

I did not know you had an medical issue Lt Col Charlie Brown and I certainly have no idea what it is but I will surely say a Prayer for complete success and a speedy recovery...

Alan K. thank you. Not a secret. I will have a hip replacement at the end of the month. I had several treatments to delay it but unfortunately the time has come. But things will, God willing, be better afterwards

Hip replacement Lt Col Charlie Brown, is like having your tonsils out now....! You'll be up and walking the same day, they will insist on it probably. Big difference, gotta' stay trim though or it won't work. Keep it "High & Tight" Charlie and you will be GTG...

Like them all today Col. I think if we could slow down and appreciate all the good things people would react with more heart all the time. We get so caught up in trivial and meaningless problems, we become jaded. A grateful heart is very honorable. Morning and hope you have a great day Col.

Alan K. - Here is a couple - the deck floor and 95% of the top part is finished with lighting instaleed in the steps (on a timer). Just a section of railing needs to be completed, the steps coming up and the skirt around the bottom. Cooking out Saturday with Brother/Wife, Our two older daughters, My Mother, and Kattie's boyfriend Alex, and Bella!

COL Mikel J. Burroughs - The finished product is a way off still, I wish they were as easy as cars! The red boat is being worked on now, new carb. & timing...I would like to use it next week!
