That's a whole lot of shoulda, coulda, woulda. Barring something unforeseen, I don't think the left will be regaining control of any branch of Gov't for the next few election cycles. The liberal members of SCOTUS are going to have up their debating skills. A 6-3 conservative leaning court is not an impossibility.

The problem is that we have liberal and conservative justices. Supreme court justices should be apolitical and have a duty to neutrally interpret laws and Constitutional provisions.

Until such a time that that is realized, we are all "totally screwed".

1SG John Furr - There is a lot wrong with that picture. But I would add that a lot of people who call themselves "constitutional conservatives" aren't. This can be seen with the Kavanaugh appointment.

It is all a talking point. There are very few politicians it seems that care about the whole Constitution. It seems both sides have their chosen amendments that they fight for without care for or regard to the others.

We are headed towards interesting times 1SG with regards to the courts.
