Didn't everyone say when he first demanded a parade that it would be expensive, inconvenient, and a waste of resources. Now he wants to blame those same critics in government. What a joke!

We all knew it would be more than the original estimate. The issue is it would have to come from Defense funds already programmed for November at this point in time--which would be a major hit to some big program.

Recommend calling the White House and asking for $92 million to repair the abused historic preserve buildings on the grounds of the Armed Forces Retirement Home. Why the rent was raised after $22 million in 3 fiscal years... OH... "unique agency in the Executive branch ". May I suggest removal? Indeed I do suggest. Not $92 million private dollars, not any sort of "commercial development "... yeah. No... No... NO! Parade? No. The Old Soldier's Home is OUR military community legacy. Our home. So? Time to claim it. Besides, I'm an Eisenhauer... we red pen excess spending. Ask Uncle Ike... "military industrial complex". Oh... and the word is "warfare" not "fanfare". N'est ce pas, Mr. Basille Day? LOL!
