I was one of the homeless, I never panhandled, I busted tires for an 18 wheeler, work that physically I should not have been doing. I built a shelter of tarps, and found an old mattress to lay my head on. I guess that I in one way or another was lucky, I didn't take my own life. As a Eagle Scout and Marine I knew how to survive. Thank you for this post, really good post.

PO3 Bob McCord pretty good, had a stint put in my heart on Tuesday. Doctor had me do a stress test and it pretty much showed that the chest pain that I had was that the vessel supplying blood to the bottom of my heart was blocked. Feeling better now, just have to take it easy for a while.

PO3 Bob McCord, thanks, sometimes when I hit that frigen wall, I just have to back up and decide whether to go right, left, or just sit down and rest. I am humbled by your and others feeling's and yeah hard to keep a Jarhead down, the trick is to keep them from bashing their heads in on the wall

PO3 Bob McCord just last month I paid my dues for the American Legion, I am not eligible for the the VFW, yes I think that I went to Okinawa just before the end of Vietnam, not sure if that counts as being deployed. So yeah I'm looking forward to seeing what is going on. However without a car I am pretty much homebound.

PO3 Bob McCord, I was with 3rd Tank Bn on Okinawa 75-76, they moved the Bn colors to MCB 29 Palms, and formed 3rd Track Vehicle Battalion, and we moved from Hanson to Camp Swabb. Also was TDY to Mt. Fuji Japan. I guess it wouldn't hurt to check it out. Thanks.
