Rachel was an excellent reporter and now in her commentary role she does a great job. She digs into everything, doesn't miss a beat, is well versed in history, and asks very well thought questions. And she has taken on issues that are mainly ignored by other media. She kept up the reporting on the lead in the water in Flint, MI; the Keystone pipeline spills; the numerous freight train accidents with hazardous chemicals; the devastation of Puerto Rico with the lack of response by our government; etc.
As to her being long winded, a lot of times Rachel is providing a history lesson for those who weren't old enough to remember, weren't taught it in school or didn't read about it in books. When she provides the historical background, it gives younger viewers (and she does have a younger viewing audience) an understanding of where we have gone through this type of stuff before.

She may be very intelligent and diligent at times, but she lets her bias consume her message. She has repeatedly jumped on an anti-Trump message so fast that no one had time to fact check it.

MAJ Milan George - She does non-political commentaries as well and she is just as inaccurate in those.......which in my view is slop. I could over look her editorial bias if she was careful with research on the non-political topics but even with her PhD she royally sucks in researching the non-political topics............which turned me off a long time ago to any of her editorials.

She does tend to bury the lead sometimes. And at times, gets out over her skis, but by and large she does a great job of breaking things down, citing sources, confirming what is known and what is speculation, and biggest of all, when she makes a mistake, she owns up to it and makes corrections.

I agree. When she screws up, she owns it, corrects it, and apologizes for it. That doesn't happen very often though, as she works hard at verifying her information, and often provides documentation that supports her story. If she is speculating on something, she makes sure that her viewers know that she is speculating.

Well gee, Maybe Bruce Orh should have listed his wife’s employer and the 6 figure salary she was earning with Fusion GPS while trying to dig up dirt on Trump as she played footsie with Steele concocting a dossier with a lot of fake data. Maybe Bruce can explain why the FBI needed him to serve as go between between Steele and the FBI after Steele was fired by the FBI. Oh well...

Interesting that Orh choose to by pass his superiors as he channeled information from his Steele to the FBI and perhaps also from his wife. Seems Orh was a weasel.https://www.washingtonexaminer.com/news/bruce-ohr-bypassed-doj-superiors-to-feed-fbi-info-from-trump-dossier-author-report
