The food pyramid is upside down. As it is the bottom is loaded with carbs your body converts to sugar. This has been known for years. Yet the pyramid remains unchanged.

eat saturated fat, protein. want to be healthy, gotta eat right. want to be fit, gotta workout right. can't outrun/out life a poor diet.

I eat very little from the lower part of the pyramid, more fruits, vegetables and meat.
