Campaigning is a nasty affair no matter how you look at it. Look at Hillary and Obama - same thing as he's mentioning in this article. Those two went at it quite harshly and she ended up being his Secretary of State. You can still bury the hatchet and work with your former foe no matter who they are.

So in politics we forgive people for degrading you and calling you a liar so you can have a couple more years sucking on the Americas teet.

MSgt Michael Bischoff - it happens on both sides of the fence. We mend our differences to move the agenda forward. Whether you agree with it or not, this is politics today.

That was campaigning. Since election Sen Cruz has reliably supported the President. I just drove by the rally site this morning, and there are 1000's of people waiting, with over 100,000 people that signed up to go see the President. In liberal Democrat Houston....

From what I've personally seen and from what I've been reading, this is common place for the POTUS rallies. I don't often see Democrat rallies that have this many people waiting in long lines to potentially get in.

I wonder how many they actually bus in from other areas just to inflate the numbers at the rallies. remember, the Washington mall was very vacant at the inauguration

That's how politics is. Be careful what you say because you probably will have to work with them...the saying "politics makes strange bedfellows" is true.

We can also say the same thing about the military. Piss off a young LT and you could come back working for the same person when they pin on MAJ or higher. Happens in the Guard all the time.
