I don't hold pharmacies accountable...I hold the dang doctors that prescribe this stuff like candy accountable. They give it out like tic tacs and people get hooked...I had neck surgery two years ago and my doctor prescribed opioids...I took them for a couple of days...when I went back to see him for my two week follow up he asked if I needed some more...I only took them for two days then went to tylenol but they were available if I wanted them...ended up turning in the first prescription so they wouldn't be around the house.

Totally agree with that. After wife's cancer surgeries they were prescribed with multiple refills, she took for a couple days and then quit. Didn't even finish first bottle let along get refills. Unfortunately many don't have her willpower.

Lt Col Scott Shuttleworth Well Florida did go after the doctors a few years back and closed down all sorts of doctor run pill mills. Going after pharmacies seems a logical next step.

Agreed. I hold the doctors and hospitals accountable along with the drug companies that pay them incentives for pushing certain drugs they know are addictive or problematic.

How could they sue them! They can’t give them without doctors orders!

SGT Mark Estes Ignorance is Never a Very Good Defense/Argument. They Knew Just How Excessive this Problem was and How Many Prescriptions they were filling. On a Ship we are all expected to sound the Alert when there is Fire or Flooding.

Thanks for opening my mind on that one, didn’t think about it that way. I was just thinking about when ever I go to the pharmacy and get prescriptions but not thinking about the big picture of someone who goes in and gets that stuff in boatloads or frequently PO1 William "Chip" Nagel
