So, the Demo-rats are going to waste tax payer money and time pursuing some lame ass tax returns when there is much more important issues to deal with like a balanced budget, immigration reforms, ect. Typical Dem-rat behavior!

Well the Republicans sure didn't care about a balanced budget when they passed a tax cut that grew the deficit by almost $12T over ten years. I don't know why you'd expect the Democrats to care.

In any case I'm actually curious to see what the President has been so desperate to keep hidden., I figure it's either that a large portion of his fortune came from shady and/or illegal activities or I think more likely that he's not remotely as wealthy as he pretends to be.

Obama's policy was to spend our way out of the massive recession he inherited, I was very much opposed to this policy even if I have to admit it was effective as a short term measure. (FTR I think we should have allowed the depression to happen, allowed GM & Chrysler and the banks to fail which would have allowed for a real long term (as in multiple decades) economic recovery)
I don't like to give Presidents all the credit for the health of the economy but if you do subscribe to such a notion Obama inherited an economy in free fall, on a likely path for a depression and turned it into 7+ years of solid & substantial gains. Trumps inherited a healthy and growing economy and has been able to ride that wave for a while (longer than I though he would) but we're seeing the chickens are coming home to roost.
It's True the Democrats only control the House, so even if they wanted to they could not effect change to the budget or immigration policy.
As for this bill the Democrats are proposing, sure it's fair to say it "targets" Trunp but at the same time it's a bill nobody though would have been necessary even 4 years ago because EVERY President since Nixon has released their tax returns voluntarily. Trump's the one who has set the bad precedent here and he's the reason a law is required to compel Presidents to show their taxes.

Who the hell cares how much he has or does not have or how much he has. Hell he is DONATING this PRESIDENTIAL salary! Who in the House of Representatives or Congress can say that....NOT ONE. The Democrats can careless about justice, all they want to do is investigate President Trump until they find something to impeach him with. All of it will be a waste of two years and waste of tax payers money. The Democrats need to get the head out of there asses.
