Yesterday when the President was breaking a 25 year tradition of visiting the troops on Christmas he claimed that "many" furloughed workers support the government shutdown until congress agrees to force U.S. taxpayers to pay for his wall.
Of course even by Trump standards this is a pretty brazen lie.

Yawn, Samo-samo. Trying to protecting our borders should have some meaning to the lefties than faked photo ops used by presidents in the past. One is a Constitutionall requirement, the other for show. But, that is you folks priority, style over substance.

He’s actually fighting for something that’s within the constitutional limits of the government, protecting our nation. He’s not trying to turn us into a socialist welfare state.

And the Democrats are on record as being in support of improved border security, as long as it doesn't involve an incredibly expensive 12th century solution to a 21st century problem. I say hold them to it and get more money for more border patrol agents and technological solutions that can do a better job of protecting our borders for a fraction of the cost.

PO2 Robert Aitchison - My 2cents.. the Democrats say they are for all that stuff because it is all TEMPORARY. It can be turned off when it becomes politically expedient. A wall can't be turned off. Not sure where you get your 12C solution, because there are a bunch of countries in the world that rely heavily on walls....
