Come on SFC Fung... Look at the pictures... do you think the guys did not know what they were doing? Further... do you really think that anyone can tell who they are from the pictures that were posted... look again - their faces are mostly covered by their gear... this is just another TDS moment and you should know better. Now if the latest reveal of Clinton's email server does not get prosecuted then there really is no OPSEC.

On a scale of 1 to 10, things to get frustrated with the President about, this is about a -2.

Really, let’s think about it. SEALS, in Iraq? Get right out of town. Holy shirts and pants, I had no idea. Also, those guys were lined up, ready to take pictures. They knew what the deal was. (Maybe it’s a result of years of the ‘hey look at me, I’m a SEAL! Gimme a book/movie deal’ culture’ that has trickled through the SEALs).

Now, worst case. One of these guys gets captured. Much like how our military seems to prepare for the last wars, we seem to also be preparing for the last bouts of POWs. This isn’t like previous conflicts. With few exceptions, those captured in this conflict (civilian, military, conventional forces, special forces, etc) generally suffer the same fate. Torture, exploitation, humiliation, execution.
To our enemy, there is far greater value in killing a prisoner (of any rank or specialty), dragging his body through the street and posting the video on al-Jazeera than just about any information they could torture out of him.

Again, this is a -2.

I watched a lot of camera flashes as Trump was on stage with the Seals. Yah, this was a really secure top secret operation. Another example of TDS.
