There will be many balk at this, but I would like to say a couple of things.

1. This may be a part of a bigger plot to slowly inject Islamists into this Nation in an effort to change our political climate in a way that begins to push Christianity and other faiths down while lifting Islam up.

2. This young lady has a desire to see our Nation improve, and her intentions are just as honorable as mine or yours.

So how do we distinguish one from the other? We can’t, and this is where we see just how much faith we have.

I believe in the Bible, and I believe that the one true God is the God of Abraham, and the way to the father is through the Son, Christ, and the only way for forgiveness and to heaven is through Christ.

She believes in the Qúran, and she believes that the one true god is Allah, and that his prophet is Mohammad, and the Prophet Mohammed received this through the angel Gabriel, and that the only way to paradise is through the Prophet Mohammed.

I think you can see where I’m going. I think she is relying on a lie, and she thinks I am relying on a lie.

I think our Country’s future is only guaranteed through Christ, and she thinks our Country’s future is guaranteed through Allah.

Which of us are being misled? Some atheists believe we both are, and that our Country should stop believing in any deity.

What I’m trying to say is because someone has a different faith does not make them my enemy. I fought alongside Christians, Muslims, atheists, Buddhists, and you name it, we served together.

Had they not been alongside me, all of them, I would not be here to write this today.

The message: do not judge a person on their faith, instead judge them on performance and actions.

I pray she has the utmost respect for our Nation. I also pray for her intentions to be honorable and beneficial for our Nation.

I also pray that ANY politician who has ill intentions towards this Nation, Christian, Muslim, or any other faith or lack of faith, will be exposed and punished, as would any traitor who betrays the trust of this Nation and what it stands for, and that is for us to believe as we believe without fear of persecution or punishment.

Do not punish a person who hasn’t yet committed a crime.

If you don’t agree with this and want to reply, I’m a big boy, and I can take it. Maybe, just maybe, we can talk as adults and you can help me better understand why you feel the way you do.

Strength and Honor!

Capt Nick Schwartz -, there was nowhere else I could start from to make the point, and that's why I hope everyone gets past that first part. We have enough division in this Nation, and in my opinion, if the majority of our Congressmen and Congresswomen and Senators campaign on the traditioinal "I'm a great Christian and member of society.", it would appear that Christianity in government has no bragging rights.

Sir, this will be long, because I have respiratory issues that keep me from talking for extended periods, so I take it out on the keyboard and take it out on you guys and girls on RallyPoint, LOL.

I was like many other soldiers who were angry toward anyone Middle Eastern because we developed a lack of trust based on the actions of many, who are actually few in the great scheme of things. Do all Muslims believe in a Caliphate? I would say that "all" would be a stretch, but I do believe that the majority do. Do all Muslims believe in Jihad? No.

So how do we tell them apart? It takes faith to judge a person on their actions and not their faith, appearance, religion, gender, race, etc. It takes faith in humanity, and faith in believing that any person who has any ill intentions toward this Nation are thwarted.

We have lived with this fear for over a hundred years, we just didn't realize it Radical Islamist's didn't decide on 9/11 that they hated the United States and wanted to attack us to bring us to our knees. They have felt this way for ages. It began in around 63 AD when Mohammed had his first meeting with the angel Gabriel, and then heightened with his second meeting in which he was introduced to 2 other pillars of Islam, which was the Jizyah on the dhimma and Jihad, both of which are intended to force Islam on others.

In the original meeting between Mohammed and Gabriel, he was entrusted with the 5 pillars of Islam, all of which were about peace, love and harmony. With the second meeting with Gabrielle, the 2 I listed above were added, which turned Islam into a more violent and controlling faith.

Those who practice the 5 pillars of Islam, Shahada (faith), Salah (prayer), Zakat (charity), Sawm (fasting), and the Hajj (the pilgrimage to Mecca), all believe in the premise that Allah only wants to see the best in us. Those who practice the 7 pillars of Islam (what we would call "Radical Islamists") all view those practicing the 5 pillars as non-believers, because they do not feel that violence is the way for Islam to grow.

So, here is the dilemma: who to trust? It's not much of a dilemma to me when you consider that many of our vicious attacks in the US are by Radical Americans who have decided they are tired of bullying, the government has wronged them, or some other life changing event has caused them to decide that they cannot take it and they must make a stand.

Most of the neighbors or families of these people all say the same thing; I never dreamed he/she would do something like this. They were just normal people who just snapped.

So, every single good patriotic American Christians have the capacity to kill you, sometimes because you are in the wrong place at the wrong time. For anyone that spends their lives thinking every Muslim is out to kill you and take over the Country: now that you know that every single neighbor you have is statistically more prone to kill you than for a Muslim to kill you, how will you spend your time now? Will you sit and stock up ammo because you are afraid they will kill you, or spend time devising a plan to take everyone out in your neighborhood?

The point is that people are corruptible to many different things. If anyone wants to live their lives in fear of someone because of their beliefs, race, etc., then whatever they are afraid of has already won

This was long, and I apologize sir, but I studied a great deal on the Muslim faith before my deployments after 9/11, and I eventually began to understand things that I couldn't grasp initially, because I already had my mind made up that there were no good Middle Easterners, and they all wanted to kill us. The truth is, the majority of them are simply trying to survive, and some are forced to do something for fear of their family members being killed or disfigured.

We tend to fear what we don't understand instead of understanding what we fear. One way you are a prisoner and defeated, and the other way you are a survivor and a victor. I'll lead it to the readers to determine which way belongs to which outcome,

Thank you for sharing the original post sir. We need to read things for understanding instead of through the eyes of distrust and fear.

Strength and Honor!
