Only the government knows if he has actually been engaged in espionage. Nevertheless, it would be a real asinine move to detain him for nothing when we know about so many people who are doing so. So in response to your 1st question ... yes, I am reasonably sure he is guilty. But then again, when has any member of the public had a vote on how a case would be prosecuted?

CPT (Join to see) - He was charged witness arms Control violation. that is why they are holding him. Trying to make that esp[espionage is a stretch that any judge would through e case out over. Is there any indication at all that espionage is on the table.
If you are reasobale sure he is guilty bases on the info available , no evidence at all , I hope you never serve on a jury since you are deciding guilt based solely on accusation and that is a horrible UN-American thing to do.
Captain you might want to refresh yourself with the Bill of Rights especial 5th and 6th Amendments, they are not optional quite yet.

Well, this is an example of me running my mouth without getting all the information. It's not the first time ... I am deleting my comment on the grounds of stupidity.
