I don't know what's happened to the Moderate Democratic party that I knew and once voted for.

Back in the early 90s, President Bill Clinton intervened to help stop thousands of Border crossers that were running across the border as soon as it got dark like in the movie Chicken Run. It was illegal aliens from all over the world, not just those who speak Spanish and Portuguese from South of the Border. President Clinton requested activation of the National Guard and the southern border states complied with Operation Gatekeeper. The Corps of Engineers set up construction battalions to help reinforce the porous or non-existing border wall. Fast forward to today and seems that the Democratic party that I once knew has gone native. Native means the Democratic Party has gone to the side of the illegal alien insurgency. Much of those undocumented workers are hard workers and want a better life but they have to stand in line like everybody else and apply for asylum or for Permanent Residency and wait like everybody else.

I wonder what former Governor Jerry Brown, Speaker Nancy Pelosi, Firebrand Loca congresswoman Ocasio Cortez would say today that's the Department of Homeland Security wants to reinforce the San Diego sector with a secondary border wall? The chicken runs still happens but at a smaller scale. I was watching the news and one Democrat congresswoman was asking the acting Attorney General why Mexicans detained don't get counsel from Mexican attorneys? What is she smoking? Attorneys for Mexico provided by the US government where our judicial system is not set up like the Napoleonic system Mexico has? Those Mexican Lawyers have no jurisdiction in the USA. DHS already has Mexican liaison links in place.

Other Advocates have been blaming the US government for those illegal migrants whose kids died in custody after not having their flu shot and being exposed to the cold and not eating for 3 days?

These government officials need to realize that it's the fault of the parents who brought them over from whatever country they came from(in both cases the two kids who died were from Guatemala) and should be charged for neglect and not blame the US government for those kids coming down ill and dying. It is a tragedy. If kids were neglected in the USA, you would have social workers taking those kids away from their parents if they had been neglected like that. Nobody blames the parents for endangering their kids. Nancy Pelosi, the kids are still going to die even if the wall was not reinforced or built because the Coyotes will abandon them in tractor trailers or sometimes rape or kill them in halfway houses or in no man's land.

It is not the fault of the US government but the illegal immigrants' Advocates at the liberal media will frequently blame the Department of Homeland Security to push the talking point agenda in the favor of the migrant child and not push the responsibility back on the migrant parents. I'm sure some sympathetic Democrats are going to have to buy a box of Depends and some Kaopectate.

It is this sympathy is why places like Venice Beach are now full of the indigent mostly white trash, often mentally ill street people living in tarps and looking not too different than the walking dead. I didn't know that California passed a law where the police can't enforce the homeless to move while sleeping anywhere they want. I did not know that California has turned into the Hawaii of the homeless. Now I know why California is number 49 out of 50 states. The homeless have more rights and now the illegals have more rights. In the meantime, the affordability of housing for the middle class is going away. The Democrats won't accept responsibility for their open door policy and consequently, California is suffering due to their Good Samaritan mentality that has no limits.

This border wall issue looks more and more to be bad mismanagement by the Democrats of California by California Voters who voted them in and their sanctuary city mentality. By the way, I speak fluent Spanish and was born in raised in Southern California. My Mother Immigrated legally from Honduras in 1959. She worked for a United Way Social Services Agency(International Institute of Los Angeles). She helped Illegal Immigrants who qualified under the Pre-1987 Immigration Laws to become legal residents. She probably helped at least 5,000 individuals or families gain their legal status.

The Immigration Reform Act of 1987 was supposed to have solved this issue once and for all. California and Nancy Pelosi need to think of what is more immoral.

The way things are going, California is going down the toilet with their sympathetic policies toward the homeless and the illegal aliens.
