No Rifle Was Better: Why Nothing Could Stop the M-1 Garand

Still a great rifle. Like the 03, you almost can't miss with it.

Great durability and long distance accuracy...but it lacks pistol grip, its length is not practical in confined spaces (I.e. too long for storage in small vehicles or close quarters combat) and it made noticeable ping sound after expending ammo clip

A weapon designed to be practical, reliable, and accurate-hard to beat that.

I think the current platforms have their place; different job, different tool...but I'd love to have one of these in my arsenal :)
