Whatever we think is the endgame is only one additional chapter in the ISIS bloody history. We must chase these people until they all have been killed, secured or driven into giving up their mission.

LTC John Shaw I watched a podcast from a GO last week discussing the changes in the Army, one of the things I took away was in conflicts like this we can no longer saw we won as we have in past conflicts, best we can do is claim we are winning.
This makes a lot of sense to me in that we are fighting an ideology more than the army of a nation state.
