I don't "need" any of the guns I purchased. I have them because I wanted them. In the USA, that's all the reason I have to give because of the 2nd Amendment, and the "Heller" and "MacDonald" decisions of SCOTUS. I have more than one because all hunting parameters and situations are not the same. Why would I try to get a Rabbit with a .308, and conversely a .17 is not going to take a wild Hog.

I need every one I have and I need a few more too. I don't hunt but do believe in personal protection and I enjoy shooting at the range to keep my skills up and if the shit hits the fan, I want many options for self preservation and protection of family and friends.
I also like the smell of gun powder and the mechanical operation of a weapon. Some weapons have value as a collector too. There are many reasons I have them but I don't need any reasons.
