PO1 William "Chip" Nagel You are correct, that was the inside of the mast. Rare occurrence to go aloft while underway. I can count on one hand the amount of times I've been aloft underway these past 17 years.

SCPO (Join to see) Somebody Hated Us ETC! My Storage Room was at the Top of the Aft Mast. Needless to Say If I Needed Extra Paper. I Got To Climb the Inside of the Mast. Not that it Bothered Me.
