Julian Castro praises Nike, compares Betsy Ross flag to Confederate flag

This is getting just a bit crazy for me. I understand that we had a long way to go at the time of that flag which Betsy Ross probably didn't produce. I have always felt that the flag represents our aspirations not our reality. We are still trying to form a more perfect union. We still have issues with poor treatment of individuals who don't look like the majority. Soon the majority will be the minority. Let's see if it is any better then. I hope we can achieve a higher state of tolerance and fair treatment. I still stand and salute the flag because i believe in our values. There is no nation better.
